It has been a long time in the making and I cannot believe that this day is finally here!  It has been so exciting to watch the temple being built over time and to finally see it completed is truly amazing!  Slade and I took the kids through the temple together.  They were so well behaved and really enjoyed seeing the inside of the temple.  Mason's favourite room was the baptisimal room, and Ronan LOVED the sealing room.  SO cute!  BUT, I think I can safely say that the peak of the experience were the endless cookies provided in the cultural hall of the Temple View Chapel.  Ronan and Mason...(and I'll sneak this in here, but don't tell anyone...and SLADE) literally gorged themselves on cookie after cookie!  haha  It was such a great experience!  I'm so happy that my children had the opportunity to go through the temple.

Summer was so well behaved too and even kept her little booties on through the whole tour! I took the kids through a 2nd time on my own so I could bring my cousin through as well. That was a nice experience!

I love the temple and I'm SO happy and feel SO blessed to have one near by now.

Every spring Avenue Machinery holds it's anual open house.  The boys are always so excited to go and look at all the tractors, sometime they get to take a ride and even try driving one.  This year it was a little more low key, but we still got to have some yummy burgers and hot dogs, and of course all the chocolate milk, donuts and juice you want.  Fun fun fun!!

This year is Ronan's 2nd year in T-ball! This little man of mine LOVES sports and is always so eager to play. He did pretty well this year and does best hitting real pitches rather than off the tee! It is so much fun to watch them learn and grow! I have to laugh though...at this age there isn't much in the way of competition and the real drive is getting to play at the playground after each game!

Ahhhhh, the joy!  I love watching my children feel the excitement that I used to feel when I was a kid, it brings me back there.  So precious!
I love these kids!!!  <3

My family is getting old enough now for me to start setting our own traditions.  We usually spend Easter dinner with either Slade's family or mine, but this year I wanted to add my own flare, so I prepared a nice dinner on the same day that we decorated some easter eggs the day before Easter.  It was so much fun!!

Summer didn't get to participate in egg dipping.  :(  Sometime I feel too overwhelmed at the thought of letting a 20 month old get at dye...haha!  Next year!
Our table setting and dinner.  I invited my parents over to join us as well.
Mason is always hanging around the dinner table when I'm getting things prep'd.  He LOVES it when we have a fancy table setting.  So cute!
